About me
Hi, I’m Rachel the face behind Rachel Vintage Moonstone.
My journey hasn’t been a straight line, and honestly… I think that’s why people connect with it.
From the Army to Starting Over
For years, I served in the Army. It gave me discipline, resilience, and the ability to keep going even when things feel uncomfortable or uncertain. But like many people, when it came time to think about life beyond the Army, I felt lost, overwhelmed, and financially stretched.
I was carrying debt, self-doubt, and that heavy feeling of “there must be more than this.”
Debt, Burnout & A Big Wake-Up Call
At one point, I realised something had to change. I was tired of surviving month to month, tired of feeling trapped by debt, and tired of telling myself I’d “sort it one day”.
So I started small. Really small.
I began reselling initially just to bring in extra money, but it quickly became so much more than that. What started as a side hustle turned into a lifeline.
Reselling Changed Everything
Through reselling, I paid off debt, rebuilt confidence, and discovered a creativity I didn’t even know I had. I learned how to source, price, sell, market, and most importantly believe in myself again.
I worked from a caravan. Then a storage container. And now a shop, I’m building something bigger a business, a brand, and a future I’m genuinely proud of.
No loans.
No credit cards.
No shortcuts.
Just consistency, community, and a lot of late nights.
Why Rachel Vintage Moonstone Exists
This business isn’t just about clothing or homeware it’s about possibility.
It’s for the people who feel behind.
For the ones drowning in debt.
For those stuck in jobs that no longer fit.
For anyone who’s been told it’s “too late” or “too risky”.
I believe you can change your life without being born into money.
I believe in community over competition.
And I believe that small steps, done consistently, can completely transform your future.
Where I’m Going
I’m building this brand as I transition out of the Army and into full-time self-employment proof that it is possible to rewrite your story.
If my journey shows you anything, I hope it’s this:
You’re not behind.
You’re not failing.
You’re just getting started.
Thank you for being part of my world 🤍
Rachel
